Ryanair pilots in Germany have warned of a strike for four hours on the backdrop of the unsatisfactory negotiations on the union recognition issues.
The pilots union was supposed to have a talk with the management which got canclled.
Earlier, “The Irish union Impact” the representing union of pilots had said that the danger of it taking industrial action is no more present now.
The union also stated that Ryanair had confirmed in writing that the airline now recognised the union. It further informed that it had accepted an invitation from Ryanair to attend a meeting on 3 January 2018 to give a consent to a comprehensive recognition agreement which will bring Colaborative negotiation procedures in the airline.
Not just this, in the previous week the comoany invited in written all unions in Ireland, the UK, Germany, Italy, Spain and Portugal for talks over union recognition.
But this meet got cancelled.
Vereinigung Cockpit (VC) union will be the first to start the strike. Head if the VC said, the invitatiin sent by company for a public meeting was nothing a a stunt and the company was juat trying earn some time.
The airline said that it is
happy to negotiate with its German pilots and the VC officials but it would not enter into negotiations with non-Ryanair pilots, or a non-Ryanair pilot who is in litigation with Ryanair.”
